New game!!!

Yes! Teewars Version o.4 is finally out! Head on over to the official site to download it! Now called “Teeworlds,” the new version is jam-packed with amazing updates! There are new graphics, a new, convenient interface, and even a new weapon! The Teeworlds team also promises that it will be easier for map makers. *Pokes Y3K* However, versions are not compatible with each other. That is why it is imperative that you download the latest edition of the game so that we can all be on the same page. Thanks!

THREE Important Updates

IMPORTANT! ALL LAZORS MUST READ! There are not one or two, but three important updates. These are all crucial to the team’s integrity and well-being, so please read through this blog post carefully. Firstly, the Eagle Squadron finally has a leader. He is [Lazor][Eagle-Leader] Azer . Please remember this name; it will aid you in battle. This is probably our most important change that will occur in a long time.


Another update is our new site. I have changed it once again because the older version, despite its striking GUI, lacked tags and categories for each post. What’s more, its minimalistic design made it difficult to navigate and become accustomed to the interface. Our new site has all of the features the older site lacked, and has a custom header that now has an image of a dark black tee with red eyes saying “Oop!” (the Teewars slogan). I hope you enjoy our new look and feel.


Finally, the password for the LazorDB will be given out soon. However, in order to obtain it, you must agree to a few terms. These terms will be listed in an email that will be given to each Lazor member once we have obtained a mailing list. An option to include your email on the site will also be included. The password you get will also be valid for the Lazor server (once we get one) Thank you for reading this lengthy post, and thank you for your time and patience while our team is still beginning.

New Name!

I have a new name. It is now [Lazor-Leader]..::J.o.n::.. Yeah, I’ve gone along with .,;obscure;,. and decided to do some wordart (or rather, period and colon art.) “Why did I post this?” some of you might be asking. I wanted to let you know so you think I am not an imposter. Imposters are a very real danger; I saw two of them today. So, please, whenever you change your name, notify me, and I will post it on this site. Thank you for reading this.

More New Stuff!

We have two new things here today. Firstly, we have the LazorDB. This is a place where confidential Lazor data is stored, and it is protected by an alphanumeric password (take THAT, hackers!) As of yet, we have no data to put up there, but we plan to create a few Lazor-only skins that will be mandatory for all team-members to use. We will also eventually post classified squadron data there. However, the website is currently hard to reach, for it is hosted on mac.com (yes, I am a Mac fan) which has extremely long web names. How are we going to get to it then?


The LINKS Section of course! On this section, which is open for all people visiting the site, there are links to Lazor and Teewars-related sites. Click the link to go to the page (duh) and mouse over it for some time to get a description. Currently we have only two URLs: the teewars website and the LazorDB, but we hope to find more. If you see any other cool Teewars sites, just email us! We will be very glad to have other users contributing. By the way, did you remember to submit your email? You will not have access to our database if you do not.

More Clarifications

Just a reminder, all Lazors from AIC do not need to submit a form. If you did, there is nothing wrong, but all you need to do is send in your email to b14ckm4g3 (at) comcast (dot) net. However, Lazors who are not from AIC must submit a form. Lazors from AIC who have decided to join after this post was written must do the same. Thank you for reading this message.

Facelift!

Yep! We have a facelift. Sunburn by Jim Whimpey, the previous style, was inconvenient and unwieldy. I hope that this site will be a lot easier to use now that we’ve modified it. There are three major changes. Most importantly, we have created a pages bar at the top of the screen that allows you to locate the three major parts of our website. We have also changed the look and feel of our site. Not only is it more “web 2.0,” but it has a crisp, clean feeling that the older site lacked. Finally, the introduction of a new theme has taken away our problems with misaligned comment area. On an unrelated note, I have created a database, and it should be up soon. Have a nice day!

Clarifications, Clarifications

IMPORTANT! ALL LAZORS MUST READ There is a standard form of username for any Lazor member. It goes like this [Lazor-Position][Squadron-Position] Username. Notice that everything is capitalized, (except for the username, which can be whatever you want) and there is no space between the squadron and the Lazor brackets and a space between the final bracket and the username. Also notice that there is a dash between the team/squadron name and the position, not a slash. So my username is [Lazor-Leader] Jon.Y3K’s is [Lazor-Vice][Phoenix-Leader] Y3K. .,;obscure;,.’s is [Lazor][Phoenix] .,;obscure;,.


Also, if you would like the Lazor Newsletter (coming soon), you will have to give your email to the name listed on the signup page. You will also be given to the special Lazor Server (also coming soon) with maps by Y3K and the special Lazor database. Hello, and welcome to the homepage of the Lazor Teewars team! This page is open for everyone to view, but if you become a Lazor member you can get more information. In the next few months, we hope to register our team at the Official Teewars Website, draft up a team logo, and even make a newsletter! We’ll also make a sign up form soon so you can join us.
